how to enable the GST_DEBUG output for my own element only?

Hello there,

I am pretty new to GStreamer. My questions is how to enable GST_DEBUG and other GST_XXX output only in my own element? I know I can set GST_DEBUG=5 to enable all these output, but this also enables the debug output of other elements in the pipeline.

Would I only enable the debug output in my own element?
