[input-selector] - is dead. To continue, whats wrong with loveless gnonlin?

Problem:

Gst, input-selector is dead, for sure, and it has no solution/feedback/followup/zero hope.
Everybody gave up with this plugin, and never its gearing.
Zero percent confidence left over with that plugin for mission critical projects to continue. Should i stop using it:?

My Target: (goal)

- Use gnonlin to achieve the similar features of dead input-selector

Tried: (so far so good)

Step 1) build it

$ cd RELEASE-0.10.16
$ ./autogen.sh; make; make install
$ gst-inspect gnonlin
