mpeg2 encoding suggestion

Hi,

I'm looking for a suitable mpeg2 video encoder. The choice is between mpeg2enc and avenc_mpeg2video elements. Anyone has any idea on which is more suitable in terms of quality?

I'm unable to get this mpeg2enc element up. Installing mjpegtools-libs does't seem to build this plugin. Am I missing anything?
