some elements are not getting installed with plugins !!

Hi,

-- I installed gst-plugins-base-1.8.2. But libraries for ivorbisdec and vorbisdec are not present in the installed folder.
-- Similarly while installing gst-plugins-good-1.8.2, libraries for flacdec is not present in the folder.
-- For other plugins, faad, mad etc are not present.
-- Why are these libraries not installing along with the plugin installation?
-- Is ivorbisdec library present only in v1.4.0 of gst-plugins-base?

Please reply ASAP.

How are you installing those? Building from source? Did you check the final output of configure to check if the plugins you want are going to be installed? If your system doesn't have the required libraries and headers some plugins will not be installed. For example, vorbisdec depends on libvorbis.

Please reply ASAP.
