Hi everybody,
is there any way to force Gstreamer pipeline to update is duration? i know that a message Bus exist GST_MESSAGE_DURATION but is never called. in fact i have some DVB TS streams that are recorded from a dvb card and stored on the local hard drive. when it is a finished record no problem, the duration is right. But when i try to play the stream when it is currently recording the duration is good at start but is never updated. is there any way to do this, or if it is not possible what is the aim of GST_MESSAGE_DURATION? Hi all,
I am quite new to gstreamer, but I can see its powers. However, I am not able to tune a specific channel from dvb usb-dongle. In fact, I have already managed to see one channel, but I am completely lost with switching channels. I have a clue in my ~/.mplayer/channels.conf, but no idea how to translate to gst. Thanks for hints... jaromir CT1:730000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:257:273:257 CT2:730000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:513:529:258 CT24:730000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:769:785:259 CT4:730000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:1025:1041:260 NOVA:634000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:101:111:513 NOVACINEMA:634000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:401:411:514 PRIMA:634000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:201:211:769 BARRANDOV:634000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:301:311:2049 PCOOL:634000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:501:511:770 On Mon, Jul 25, 2011 at 7:16 PM, arnaud tonda <[hidden email]> wrote: > Hi everybody, > > is there any way to force Gstreamer pipeline to update is duration? > i know that a message Bus exist GST_MESSAGE_DURATION but is never called. > > in fact i have some DVB TS streams that are recorded from a dvb card > and stored on the local hard drive. > > when it is a finished record no problem, the duration is right. > But when i try to play the stream when it is currently recording the > duration is good at start but is never updated. > is there any way to do this, or if it is not possible what is the aim > of GST_MESSAGE_DURATION? > > Best regards > > Arnaud Tonda > _______________________________________________ > gstreamer-devel mailing list > [hidden email] > http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/gstreamer-devel > gstreamer-devel mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/gstreamer-devel |
Hi,
could you please create another mail for your specific problem? if subjects are mixed, it's not so easy to answer. For your problem, i don't use gstreamer for dvb tuning, i can't answer.
but tuning channels, if you have a good scan is not realy hard.
