Hi all
I was trying to send the webcam captured video via RTP for that i ran pipeline in receiver side like this RECEIVER ./gst-launch-0.10 udpsrc port=5000 ! rtpmp4vdepay ! ffdec_mpeg4 ! ffmpegcolorspace ! xvimagesink SENDER ./gst-launch -v v4lsrc ! ffenc_mpeg4 ! rtpmp4vpay ! udpsink port=5000 ( on same pc ) /******************************/ But In the RECEIVER side an error comes like this Setting pipeline to PAUSED ... Pipeline is live and does not need PREROLL ... Setting pipeline to PLAYING ... New clock: GstSystemClock ERROR: from element /GstPipeline:pipeline0/ffdec_mpeg4:ffdec_mpeg40: Internal GStreamer error: negotiation problem. Please file a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=GStreamer. Additional debug info: gstffmpegdec.c(1981): gst_ffmpegdec_chain (): /GstPipeline:pipeline0/ffdec_mpeg4:ffdec_mpeg40: ffdec_mpeg4: input format was not set before data start Execution ended after 30203619000 ns. Hi, You need to set caps to the udpsrc element. As you are using rtpmp4vdepay, you also have to include config line in caps.
