why is jacksink/src listed under "bad"?

Christopher Harvey-3
Just wondering why the jack input and output elements are in the bad
category...I haven't looked at the source, but the documentation says it was
last updated in 2006, is it just unmaintained, or is more work required?

Thanks,
Chris.

It is working, but no one sofar requested to move it to good. It probably could
get some improvements here and there.
