Hi all,
I want to download the x264 plugin. Could some one tell me where can I download the source for it. Hi,
The gstreamer plugin for x264 (x264enc) is in gst-plugins-bad. If it's not available for your distro, you can download gst-plugins-bad and you'll also need the x264 source code. BTW, the *second* answer on google for "x264 gstreamer" would have told you which module that plugin belongs to... I have installed the latest gst-plugin-bad i.e., gst-plugins-bad-0.10.10 but the plugin doesn't build. I did even configure with --enable-x264 but it still doesn't work.
When I googled for "x264 gstreamer" the relevant searches I found were http://www.videolan.org/developers/x264.html which will be not helpful in my case or ftp://ftp.cse.buffalo.edu/mirror/BSD/FreeBSD-Archive/ports/i386/packages-5.5-release/All/gstreamer-plugins-x264-0.8.11_1.tbz which only has the libraries built but no source.
