How to use request pads

Hi,
I need to create arbitrary  number  of source pads for my videomixer
element. How is it made possible in real time?

Why don't you just look at another similar element? I'm guessing the
adder element would be one such element.

I think adder is only for audio? Or, can I use it for video also?

just use the existing videomixer element even. Whats wrong with it?
