Issues in Windows 7 using the last GSteramer version

Hello,
I'm working on GStreamer from Windows 7 and Windows 8. At this point, I'm testing using these pipelines: SENDER: ksvideosrc ! jpegenc ! rtpjpegpay ! udpsink host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port=5000 RECEIVER: udpsrc port=5000 ! application/x-rtp,encoding-name=JPEG,payload=26 ! rtpjpegdepay ! jpegdec ! autovideosink This code works OK in Windows 8, however it is not working in Windows 7. Even the window related with autovideosink is not shown. So, what would the problem be in this case? i downloaded GStreamer form this location: https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/pkg/windows/1.10.2/ Regards |

Thanks for answering. I don't have any error when I write the pipeline using verbose. I compare the consoles (Windows 7 and Windows 8), they have the same values. However, everything OK when I tested the pipeline using tcpserversink and tcpclientsrc instead of udpsink and udpsrc. For that reason, I think that the issue is related with Windows 7 Professional configuration, specifically UDP or TCP configurations. I'm researching but I don't have progress. At this point, I don't know how activate DEBUG mode in Windows in order to hove more information about the problem. I used this reference: https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/doc/gstreamer/head/gstreamer/html/gst-running.html putting the configuration in Environment Variables and it didn't work either. About your questions: Are you using gst-launch for your tests?: Yes Are you getting error messages?: No Did you try a simple pipeline like "videotestsrc ! autovideosink"? You might also consider checking if there is a firewall preventing you

Hi Maarten,
About firewall, my use case is localhost which means the connection is port to port in the same machine. Once I activate DEBUG mode, I will post the results. Thanks for your help, Regards |
