Hi All, there once was a topic on the need for a mechanism to transport extra data in a GstBuffer. I currently use GStreamer for video analysis (e.g. feature detection) and would find the mechanism very usefull because I always need to send specific data between my own made plugins. For the time beeing, I create my own gstbuffers and fill them with my data, which is all but convenient... What is the status on the topic? Is it in a dead end, or just waiting for more inputs?
