1.6.4 as mentioned in another reply. It's because GLib dropped Windows
XP support, everything else should still be Windows XP compatible at
this point. So if you want to compile yourself, you could use an older
GLib in theory.
However dropping Windows XP support is also on our list since a while
as supporting it has many disadvantages. See this bug for the progress
