Video corruption using gstreamer

Hi

I have an app using gstreamer to display a live capture from a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR1300.  Screenshot of the problem Screenshot_cr.jpg

If I run TVTime or xawtv the picture is displayed fine.  Any ideas on what could be causing this corruption?

Maybe your rendering format (some kind of colorspace issue) is wrong ?
What's your pipeline look like ?

it appears to me like a (de)interlacing problem. Please check if you have a deinterlace element in the capture pipeline:
