However, the audio and video is sometimes not in sync. Maybe the files are corrupt ..
Try this: gst-launch filesrc location=file1.m2v ! decodebin2 ! autovideosink filesrc location=file1.m2a ! decodebin2 ! autoaudiosink If your system has the required plugins installed and your files have proper headers in place, this should work.
