recording video in smaller files

Hi,

           I want to record the video stream coming from a RTSP camera. I
want to record in a separate file after every 1 hour. Is it possible to
implement an automatic mechanism where a new video file will be created
after current file records for 1 hour ?

Yes that's no problem, just use splitmuxsink with its parameter max-size-time

Have a look at the splitmuxsink element and its "max-size-time"
property.
