Hi All,

This is Preetam, I am into Multimedia for quite some time now on proprietary frameworks, openmax and other multimedia middle ware. I am familiar with C .I have been following up gstreamer for quite some time with just downloading building and referring some code.

I would like to start contributing to the gstreamer. I checked the bug list and it didnt give me any place to start with. I would like to know any ongoing projects inside gstreamer where I could contribute to.

In addition to what DS said, let us know which area you are interested in (audio video, codecs, ...). Also try building 0.11 and run the tests. Fixing failing/unported tests and porting remaining plugins would be very welcome.
